Quintus and Jason have shared a room since forever. Whenever they moved out of our room. Jason’s clothes is in that room and Quintus’ clothes in the room that he will sleep in one day. 

Last night Jason said that it is HIS room.  I tried to explain that it will be his room once Quintus and Zander has moved out but since they are all sharing the room, it is their room.

Jason thought about this for a while but said nothing.

They all bath together (gosh, they do everything together lol) and I overheard Jason telling Quintus:

“You must move out of my room on 31 July next year”

I SO laughed at him giving Quintus an exact date to be out of the room. 

I wonder if that notice is applies to Zander as well?

• Tommie slept out last night.  That’s not too bad but I hate having to get up and make my own coffee.  Oh shut up.  I’m spoilt that way.
• We went to bed way too late last night, thanks to the prize-giving at school.  The boys weren’t happy campers this morning.
• We were locked inside our own yard, since my parents my parents, didn’t know that we don’t lock that gate.  Huge rush and stress to find the key.
• Jason left his school bag at my folks house last night, so we had to fetch it before school this morning, with a Zander still dressed in his pj’s.
• As I turn towards school, I get this feeling that Jason has not yet brushed his teeth.  yip…no proper teeth, so we turn around for him to brush them at my parent’s home.
• By now Quintus is ready to kill irritated because he is going to be late.  (which is not … yet)
• I stop at the school and he lets Bella out of the car.  Holy F**&^*cking shit!  I just said, watch out that she doesn’t get out and then he pushes her out with his school bag!  Thank goodness, she is very obedient and just stopped when I told her to.
• I left the boys, not in a good mood.
• As I drove Zander to school, I remember that the boys had no lunch box or tuck-shop money.
• I stopped in front of Zander’s pre-school and remembered that he was supposed to be practising for their concert at a preschool and he was now late!
• I got back to work, wrote Quintus a letter, put money in the envelope for the tuck shop and dropped it off at school.
• Got back to work and got a call from the bank.  Those calls are never good.
• Found out about not-so-good news with a contract Tommie is busy with.
• Come on night time.  I want to restart today.  Can’t say I was a supermom at all today.  Not even close.

I mentioned this often but it does make me so proud.  Our school has a positive reward system and when you have made it to the highest level, you receive a Club + badge. 

Jason is the only boy in his class to have received this badge.  I’m so proud of him.

I have had it up to here (ha like you can see where) with my father-in-law.  I am sick and tired of how he treats my husband.  I think he forgets that Tommie was not born to be his slave. 

I’m sick of how he shouts at my husband.  In front of the kids as well.  What kind of respect can they have for their father is this is the way he treats their dad?  He shouts at my husband in front of me.  I have had it.  Can you imagine how he treats him when we are not around?

My husband is a person for heaven’s sake.  Tommie is his SON!  Is he not proud of him?  Can he not show love?  Can he not appreciate the son he has?

Do I have the right to talk to my father-in-law about this?  I think I must.  I have kept my mouth shut long enough now.  His behaviour towards my husband is unacceptable and it influences our relationship.  It influences Tommie’s relationship with the boys.

I have had enough of Tommie getting home in a bad bad place because of his father!  His very own father.

Now, I just don’t know if it’s fair towards Tommie to take this up with his father.

I just know that the next time I witness that kind of behaviour, I will not be able to keep my mouth shut.  Maybe talking before I’m upset as well, will be better for all involved.
