Super Mom

Welfare

If we had a good welfare system in South Africa I would go on it.  I feel like crawling into a deep dark cave and just lie there.  On the cold floor, hoping for all of it to just go away.

Our medical aid never put through our monthly debit order and they have not been paid since April last year.

We owe them R17 000 ($2 353).  No wait – we don’t.  They just took it all this morning.

Let me just crawl into that hole.  Oh if you were wondering.  No we don’t have that kind of money.  My dad does though.  Thanks for lending us the money Dad.

The hole….let me just crawl into the hole.

    I’ll ditto Valkyrie’s remarks.

So you are not a glow worm today?? 😦

Thank Goodness for your Dad. Still its just not right that they (which ever institution it is) can deduct all at once and without your consent or notification.

I just bet that they say it’s your fault for not following up after the 1st month.

Is that even legal? I mean first of all if the insurance company doesn’t deduct it and it is an oversight they cannot take it at once. They are suppose to bill you like $50 dollars more a month or something. GEE WHIZ! I would sue their sorry butts. Thank goodness for your dad but still…WHAT IF YOUR DAD didn’t have that kind of money? That is total crap and makes me second guess my earlier statement about ever wanting to live in South Africa. CRAP ON THEM!

Ag nee Man! Makes me think of the time the pay system company that paid Cliff realised they had worked out his overtime on double time not time and a half for a long time and took it all back in one fell swoop. In November. So we had budgeted to get stuff for Christmas then but couldn’t. That did sucketh! Crawl into the whole, my friend – I’ll send Mr Delivery with chocolate to keep you going. And a wireless broadband setup.
