Friends. Not just family

One thing that always amazes me of my boys, is how they enjoy each other’s company. How they truly are friends and not just brothers.

We must breed a special kind of boy in our family since they have had their cousins here for a week now and they too are friends. Not just family. There has hardly been any fights. I actually can’t think of one but that might be because I’m so tired that I’m impressed that I remember the names of my children.

I hope they can keep this up. I’d rather have 5 teenage boys being rough and loud and laughing in our home than 5 sulking fighting shouting teenage boys.

I can’t imagine having teenage boys around. But having people in a good mood beats having them around in a bad mood all the time, even if it means it is quieter.
