Easter Bunny

I have never gotten the Easter bunny laying eggs? What the?

Easter is big on the family calender. As is Christmas. I’m now not talking about the reason for those holidays (which I do explain and teach the kids) but I’m talking about the excitement of it for the kids.

We go full-out. Even as far as having the Easter Bunny wait one day so that all the cousins can do the hunt together. There’s a search for the bunny and then the hectic search for the eggs.

The boys had such fun. Crawling, jumping and searching in all earnest. Like little ants. Running to find the food chocolates and take it back to one central point.

It was adorable to see Zander enjoying his first real Easter Egg hunt. Before he didn’t quite get what it was about. Today though, with the help of his Oupa and Uncle Michael, he quickly picked up on what all the hype was about. Just adorable!

Can hardly believe that anyone would want to perservere under those circumstances – she must be one seriously awesome chick 🙂
