Super Mom

Zander and I have a little ritual every morning as we drive to school.  By then it’s just the two of us.

We listen to two specific songs.  Both Afrikaans.  The one is called “Sneeuman” about how a girl built a snowman for the guy she loves even though it’s too warm for one, so she kept it in her fridge.  It’s sung by a little girl and is just so sweet.

The second is a very well-known Afrikaans song called “Baby Tjoklits”  (Baby chocolates)  He knows ALL the words to this song and will even sing it by himself.  He sang it to me before he went away with my parents this weekend.  Our song

This is him, singing it to himself this weekend.
