Super Mom

He really is a big boy now!!!!

This afternoon Zander asked if I would teach him ride his bike without the training wheels.  I took them off and well, he took off!  Just like that.  As though he has always cycled without the training wheels.

that’s amazing, my 5 y.o. still wobbles and falls off. We even got a smaller bike from a friend so he can put his feet on the ground when stopped, but he just can’t seem to be excited about this whole cycling thing.

    • I think it’s seeing his older brothers ride that helps but he has always liked cycling 🙂 I’m sure he’ll get the hang of it

  10. Well done Mr Man 🙂

That so awesome! Kiara did this a few weeks ago as well. Asked my dad to take the wheels off, told him to leave her and off she went!

  11. Well done Zander!!

I take it, it is best to wait until they ask you to take the training wheels off. Logan has managed in the past with only one training wheel, but I’m scared it hinders his abilities to learn to balance.

Maybe I will just wait until he asks!

Why don’t you try to bend the training wheels up. That way, he has the support if needed but he will mostly be balancing himself
