Super Mom

Day 04 → Something you have to forgive someone for

I once was a little girl.

He once was an older boy.

I once hid my face under a pillow because I thought it was funny and I was told not to laugh.  I didn’t know it was wrong.

I once got hurt when he tried to see how deep a wire would go.

I once got hurt when he told me to come back when I have breasts …. wasn’t I good enough?

I once got hurt when I tried to talk about it and was told I’m making a bigger deal out of it than it is.

It’s hard to forgive.  Especially since that boy is no longer a boy.  That boy is now a grown man and turned out to be a good man as well.

How can I forgive someone that’s not even there anymore?

  1. I am not a forgive and forget person – and this is one of the reasons why. This cuts to the bone.

    • I think if we had to know, it would be so sad and scary how many women walk around with this. THAT is why I’m willing to talk about it. People must stop thinking they can do it and it will never be spoken about again
