Super Mom

Day 08 → Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit

I think this happens most when someone you love hurts you.  It hurts more when it’s someone you care for.  Someone who promised to love and care for you and then doesn’t.  This has happened but it has also changed and that same person now treats me with love and respect.

The only other time I can really think of, is the first job I had after Quintus was born.  I had it for 6 weeks before I resigned and started working with my dad.  The glorified PA had been working there forever and six days and couldn’t handle the fact that I worked half day and earned more than her.  She did everything possible to treat me like shit.  That, coupled with the fact that Quintus was just 6 weeks old when I started working there, made it difficult for me to stay.

I resigned but left even before my 2 weeks notice was up.  I just couldn’t handle that woman.
