Super Mom

Bad day at school

I picked the boys up at school and sure wasn’t met with two happy faces.

Jason looked as though he had been in a fight.  Half the skin of his face is still somewhere on the school grounds, since it’s no longer on his face.  Thankfully it wasn’t due to any bullying.  He tripped and fell.

To add to the sad face, his teacher took his yo-yo and he can only get it back at the end of the term.  Poor kid wasn’t even playing with it.  Another child took it and played with it.  This is when the teacher decided to take it. I understand her point but shame man…my kid is very upset.

Then Quintus got to the car as pale as can be.  He is nauseous and his stomach hurts.  Head ache and all.  Clearly some or other stomach virus.  Poor kid.  To make it worse, he is busy writing exams Sad smile

Some days, their days are way worse than mine!

  4. Oh no. Poor Quintus! Tummy bugs are the worst. I hope it is mild, passes quickly, and doesn’t not spread through the house. What a shame for Jason. Falling AND loosing his yo-yo. I know the teacher meant well – but it seems to me that she could have given it back to Jason and asked him to take it home. What a bummer. How much longer until the end of term so he can get it back? My kids love their yo-yo’s too.

    • End of the school term is 24th of June. Long for a child! 😉 Quintus didn’t sleep well last night at all. In fact the stomach bug only got worse. He went to school to write his exam and then I picked him up.

    • Unfortunately not. Quintus just got sicker (until he got intravenous injections last night) and Jason is so upset about the marks on his face. So much so that he doesn’t want to go to school! 😦
