Little feet

Zander went to a orthopaedic surgeon on Friday. Unfortunately he needs surgery on both his little feet.

Quintus was there with us.  The doctor looked as Zander’s feet and said that he would need to operate on 6 of his toes.

Quintus immediately asked: “Will he still be able to play rugby after the operation. He is a rugby player. He loves rugby”

That is such a typical Quintus thing to ask. Worried that his brother would not be able to do what he loves.

After all, he was pretty much born with a rugby ball in his hands.

Aw poor Zander. I’m sure he will be able to play so much better after the operation 🙂

Lol love Quintus being worried about that

  2. What a sweet and kind boy Quintus is. He is going to be such a great father someday. Poor Zander. Praying all goes well and he has a quick recovery.

He needs surgery to correct 6 of his toes. The ligaments and muscles are too tight, causing his toes to curl up under his feet. He is in fact walking on the ‘knuckles’ of his toes. Don’t know how he still runs and plays rugby the way he does!

  4. I’m glad for all of you that you can have it fixed and do so now while he’s still young!
